An early carved and polychrome limewood figure of a Catholic Saint. Dressed in a robe covered in floral decoration, holding the bible. Most probably Italian or southern European, circa 1620. In original condition with signs of wear consistent with age. A rare and decorative piece of early sculpture. Possibly Saint Peter.
