Antique 17th-century portrait of a gentleman, circa 1680. Standing in fur-edged robes with deep red vestments, that may indicate a person of authority rather than of religious background. The artwork is probably lowlands in origin. Wear is consistent with age, but not holing to the canvas. A good decorative early example of its kind.
Height 57 cm , width 47 cm, depth 2 cm
