A good quality English oak writing desk, circa 1870. Freestanding with drawers to one side with turned handles and a new tan leather top with aesthetic tooling patterns. Below are turned and fluted columns with arches, united by a turned stretcher. Fine detailing including line detailing. Standing on original porcelain castors. To the underside is a numerical stamp from a makers inventory, probably a company like Lamb of Manchester or someone similar.
