Hutton-Clarke antiques are pleased to offer an antique French mahogany writing table, circa 1840. Standing on tapered legs with three drawers and finished on both sides. Covered in original brass mounts and a black inset leather top with a Greek key gilt border. One drawer is fitted with a lockable compartment. A highly decorative and beautiful piece, inspired in design from Marie Antoinette's desk from the Louis XVI period.
