A very good quality Georgian mahogany secretaire bookcase, circa 1800. Unusual glazed top with three adjustable shelves. Below is a graduated chest with fine beaded details and good quality brass handles, standing on splay feet. The secretaire opens to reveal a red leather work surface with ivory drawer handles. A good example of its kind that is not too wide or tall. Complete with keys.(splits into two halves)
