Antique Italian display cabinet, circa 1840.  Made in two sections with walnut and rosewood. An unusual example with glazed fronts and sides on both sections.  The top is domed with gilt finials and flanked by barley twist columns. Below are similar double columns at both the front and back. A single shelf to the top and none to the base.  A fantastic item to display objects in clearly.
