A very good quality Italian Renaissance revival collectors cabinet on stand ,made in solid carved oak. The top section lifts off the base and has an adjustable shelf , the bottom section also has an adjustable shelf and a drawer in the cushion mould. The top moulding is decorated in cabochons , whilst the doors are finely carved strapwork with central heads of bacchus. The drawer is decorated in similar decoration with open pierced brackets. The base is flanked by columns and terminates on bun feet. A useful and decorative item , that makes a real statement in a house.
