Antique oak Wainscot chair, circa 1680. Good colour and patination. Unusual form with finely shaped arms carved back and cresting rail. The seat rails are carved around, apart from one side that was probably replaced a long time ago. The chamfered legs are united by stretchers. A handsome country house-period chair at a sensible price!
