French Empire mahogany side cabinet, circa 1820. Beautifully made in mahogany with original figured and shaped marble top. The whole piece is embellished with original ormolu mounts inspired by excavations in Egypt at the time. A single drawer to the frieze, below that is a cupboard flanked by open shelves. Standing on gilt brass paw feet. A superb quality piece.
