A superb quality Regency period Cheval dressing mirror, attributed to Gillows of Lancaster. Made from the best quality mahogany with excellent colour and patination. The uprights and horizontal stretchers are all finely turned and reeded. Tne mirror itself has a cross banded border with finely turned bosses and an unusual carved pediment with a central shell. The reeded outswept legs have their own bespoke design of castors.
