A lovely country house pollard oak Irish bookcase from the mid 19th century. In rare untouched condition , with lovely astragal glazed doors decorated with shamrocks. The cornice is decorated in an egg and dart motives , whilst the columns are tapered barley twists. Inside the top are four adjustable shelves. In the bottom are two shelves enclosed by carved panel doors. The piece separates by unscrewing for easier moving.
