Hutton-Clarke antiques are pleased to offer a painted French maritime chest, circa 1800. Finished in a beautiful original paint with Cancale written on the top left corner ( an area near St Malo in Britanny). Slightly tapered sides with domed top and remnants of the frame without the original rope handles. Inside is original with candle box. A lovely rare example.
