Plum pudding mahogany serpentine chest of drawers, circa 1770. Made from a very unusual cut of mahogany with a kingwood banding and two-tone stringing. The graduated three drawers are lined in oak and standing on swept bracket feet. Replacement old brassware and the top drawer has been fitted previously. A very good example with low and wide proportions.
