Rare George II Cuban mahogany tripod table of large proportions, circa 1740. Large patinated top mounted with a rotating birdcage and tilt-top mechanism. Below is a gun barrel stem on three carved and beautifully worn legs with unusual re-entrant cabriole legs ad rare pierced decoration. A really bold country house piece.
