A very decorative red Japanned cabinet on stand, circa 1900. Decorated in gilt on a red ground in the Chinoiserie style. The decorative fretted and engraved metalwork on the doors , open to reveal a plain black interior with fixed shelves. All in one piece, however, it can be unscrewed from the base.
