A fine quality set of eight French mahogany chairs with original oxblood leather covers. Standing on cabriole legs, with overstuffed seats. The shaped padded backs are surrounded by fine mouldings and have beautifully carved shells. The leather on the seats are stable, whilst the backs have a few repairs. A very decorative set of chairs that would either go with a farmhouse table or a more formal table. Both comfortable and sturdy. Circa 1880. Seat height 50cm
